What is the difference between Tandoori chicken and Grilled Chicken?

Tandoor funk is cooked in a tandoor which is a spherical roaster erected either above ground or in the ground. First the funk skin is removed and marinated in yogurt and spices. It's also placed on long essence skewers and vertically placed in the tandoor.

Grilled funk is cooked by placing the funk on the caff rods of a round or vertical caff and allowed to cook directly over the coals. 


Marinating is voluntary but utmost people do marinate their funk. Also, in the West utmost people don't remove the skin when they caff funk. The adipose skin keeps the funk meat wettish, and if there's a health concern (cholesterol) the skin may be removed after grilling.




A note on why the skin is removed from the funk cooked in a tandoor. As I understand it, Auyvedic wisdom believes that complaint is closest to the skin, which is why the skin is removed. The yougurt condiment is used to keep the funk tender.

The abecedarian difference is in the cuisine fashion. Funk (or anything differently) cooked IN tandoor ( roaster) is tandoori funk and funk cooked ON a caff ( hotted by coal or honey) is grilled funk.

The main difference is in the marinate used and secondly the cuisine process. I suppose the watercolor caff will produce the same result if the tandoori marinate is used.


I agree with all the other bills who responded by saying that Tandoori Chicken, rigorously speaking, must be cooked in a Tandoor. Still, the name has also come to suggest funk that's cooked with a certain range of Indian spices, whether in a regular roaster, or indeed by grilling in some fashion (eg toaster, or BBQ). Grilled funk is grilled on a rack of burning coals or on an electric baker while Tandoori is cooked in an authentic Indian roaster called Tandoor. The difference between Tandoori funk and Grilled funk is that the former is regale funk placed under coal and is roasted to give a Smokey effect. Whereas Grilled funk is placed on a caff and also roasted grilled funk may or may not give the smokey taste as tandoori funk.


There’s not important difference between both the tandoori funk and grilled funk. But whatever the system and constituents which makes them different are for the really good.
